They are the flagships of triathlon in Brazil: Fernanda Keller and Marcus Ornellas. And they also caused a stir internationally more than once. Both of them have great athletic performances on their lists of achievements, and they show exemplary commitment to the sport that has made them popular.
Still, after many years in triathlon, you can feel their unbroken passion for their sport when talking to them. This desire to spread the spirit of triathlon makes them ideal ambassadors for the TriStar philosophy focused on fun, social responsibility and environmental protection.
Fernanda, the "Queen of Brazil", has a long and successful international career including 15 Ironman Hawaii participations and six top 3 finishes. She still has the same enthusiasm and has shown her commitment when founding an institution helping more than 500 children discover the power of sports.
Marcus Ornellas has celebrated almost 150 victories in the sport of triathlon in Brazil and on the international level.
Together with Star Events, Fernanda and Marcus wish to develop TriStar and bring the new philosophy to their home country. And in addition, we'll see them race TriStar over the next seasons, too!
